Deliberately Considerate supports, promotes, and embraces racially and geographically diverse women business leaders. According to UN Women, “over 2.7 billion women are legally restricted from having the same choice of jobs as men, globally.” Currently, the US has 12.3 million women-owned businesses and added half a million jobs between 1997 and 2007. Women’s economic empowerment boosts productivity, increases economic diversification and income equality in addition to other positive development outcomes.
