The big game is just around the corner and having snacks and tasty pickings is tradition. The sad reality though is over 700 million chickens are slaughtered just for game day wings and the like! Instead, opt for this cruelty free, mouth watering, plant based, ultra satisfying stir fry recipe.
Our super bowl recipe is gluten free, vegan, and free from allergens. No matter who you are cooking for, they will be able to enjoy this meal. Serves 2-3 people.
Ingredients:
1 cup stir fry frozen vegetables (broccoli, onions, mushrooms, red bell peppers, green beans, carrots)
4 oz udon noodles
2 tablespoons Ocean’s Halo stir fry sauce
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 cup veggie broth
How to:
In a large pan, add veggie mix, sesame oil, broth, and rice wine vinegar. Cover and let steam on low heat to soften the veggies. When they are fork tender, remove the lid and raise the heat to medium to sauté.
Boil the udon noodles. When they are just finished cooking, drain and add to pan with veggies. Pour the stir fry sauce, mix together and serve. Enjoy!
