Over the weekend, I joined my lucky charm friend and my lovely sister on a shopping outing at an indoor antique & vintage flea market in Penns Landing. Over 75 vendors displayed vintage pieces including jewelry, clothing, and artwork. The antique furniture was something of interest to me without my knowledge. A little backstory, I am in the process of moving and have been steadily making decor purchases. I thought the process was almost completed, but something was missing unbeknownst to me. On every single thrift shop occasion, with this particular friend, I end up finding a fabulous deal, hence the lucky charm nickname. This day of shopping was no exception. I was only at the very beginning of the market when a chair called my name. A true antique beauty. This tufted accent chair with dark wooden legs in goldenrod yellow was the missing piece to complete my vision.
I do not want to spoil the surprise by revealing too soon. You’ll just have to stay tuned for the finished look!
Let’s move on to the clean beauty products that I have been using for a little over a week. I purchased my cappuccino made with coconut milk at Kimberton Whole Foods and while I was waiting, I browsed the beauty aisles. I was searching for a hair treatment and ended up finding a few different products. I have not been disappointed.
To achieve this particular look below, I added the Tame Hair Cream from EO products to my damp hair. I sectioned my hair into four parts. Two on either side in the front and two on either side in the back. I allowed the braids to air dry over night. I was absolutely shocked at the results. My hair was smooth and frizz free with a healthy texture. For a little something extra, I sprayed my entire head with Giovanni Shine of the Times, which made my tresses glisten with the oil of natural bergamot.
Every single day, I have been misting my face with Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin which has saved me from dry, itchy skin and protected my face from the harsh winter elements.
As for a new signature scent, the Rose Attar essential oil perfume from Maroma is an intoxicating natural fragrance. The blend of clove, geranium, and rose are a magical combination. The essential oils glide smoothly onto the skin and absorb quickly.
