The Modesty Runway Show was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. This event honored designers that focus on collections that are not only gorgeous, but created for women that do not need copious amounts of skin exposed. Dressing modestly does not mean compromising style. Muslim women and children can incorporate trends while remaining true to their beliefs like the above gold ethereal gown by Who Else But Madinah.
Daishaneen Wallace, designer of DAW Fashion Design Inc. presented a vibrant collection with tailored creations that celebrated all curves.
M’Squ2ared incorporated chic gold accessories over a traditional Hijab with leather trimmings and polka dot printed fabrics.
Zainahs Closet was a sight for the eyes with brilliant colors and vivid intricate patterns. Mustards, dark blues, golds, and olive greens jumped out of these twirling dresses.
Nasr Inc by Najla displayed stunning pieces that can only be described as luminous. These 70’s inspired, opalescent designs danced across the runway.
